Clay in the Park w/ Zoë Denault
In June, we hosted our first Clay in the Park event together with Zoë Denault of studio ok in the most beautiful setting. There is no better way to connect with the natural world than by getting in touch with its materials in the very environment they originate from. Zoë introduced us to the pinching technique and guided us in creating our own ceramic objects. Shaping the clay in our hands, feeling the sunlight and warm air on our skin, connecting with the natural world around us.
Tufting Workshop w/ Bettina Willnauer
This April, we had the pleasure of having artist Bettina Willnauer visit from Copenhagen for a one-of-a-kind Tufting Workshop. Bettina invited participants into her Viennese atelier to share her brilliant artworks and introduce everybody to the process of tapestry making with a tufting gun. Starting off with some sketches & drawings to inspire each and everyone’s personal wall carpets, people were able to work with different tufting machines and try their hands at various techniques under Bettina’s guidance.
